Bubble Talk is a new fast-paced family board game that asks players to match hilarious captions with funny pictures. A game that is as much fun if you are 8 or 80, the game begins when each player draws seven random caption cards. The judge for that round draws a picture card and players must quickly try to match the funniest caption they have to the picture. The player who makes the judge laugh the most wins that round. Each round provides comical, clever and creative results, guaranteed to keep everyone in the group laughing. Fantastic party game similar to Apples A friend of mine who’s roomed with me at gaming conventions e-mailed this game to me and said it would go great with the other party games I have. I saw all the five-star ratings it got here and ordered it through Amazon. It got delivered quickly. I took it to a Game Meetup group the day I got it in the mail. It was a SMASH HIT.The game plays very much like Apples to Apples and The T-shirt Game. A picture is passed around and everyone submits one of their seven captions that they think best goes with the picture. The judge chooses the caption he/she likes best and the person who submitted that caption gets the picture. The first one to get five pictures wins. Everyone takes turns being the judge, so it’s never the same judge twice in a row.A fun game that’s simple to learn and play. All ages can play and it provides laughs. Plus there’s no questions involved. It’s been a hit everywhere I’ve brought it. One guy asked where I got it so he could get it. If you’re looking for the next great party game, here it is. Great Game for Family or Friends This is a great game with a cleaver combination of predetermined statements and great quality pictures. The basic game play, a picture card is placed for all to see, each person selects the funniest “bubble talk” card out of the 7 in their hand and places it face down. A “judge” reads the cards aloud and selects the funniest, the winner of that round. First player with five winning cards wins the game.We have played with family ages 3-65 and groups of friends. Great developmental game for the 3 yr old, necessitates quick reading for the 8 yr old and is just fun for the rest of us. With friends the “bubble talk” cars can often have double meanings, thus the game can become anything from dirty to down right odd. A quick whit can work wonders matching the bubble talk statements to the quite often hilarious pictures.One nice addition to the game would be blank cards on which a player can write their own statement. Each player should have one for each round.We recommend this game for families, teens and pre-teens.
