Loved it. Loved the humor. We need more humor in our lives. Hope this author continues to write books like this.
Like a selection of Valentine’s chocolate, this collection of short stories lingers and leaves behind a sweet taste in your mouth. Thoroughly enjoyable read. I have several of this authors’ works, all free on Kindle and intend to savour every one. Look for them all.
This book is a compilation of ten short but sweet stories. We meet Allie, who dresses as a clown for a niece’s birthday party and learns that there are some benefits to clowning around. Then there is Lettie’s mother who always prepares salmon for Lettie’s birthday, but Lettie doesn’t like salmon. Perhaps the new owner of the local fish shop can change her mind. One of my favorites was “Say it With Flowers” as Mike and Allie flirt using flowers. In another story, Anna realizes she shouldn’t be at the speed dating event because her heart has alreday been given. And the list goes on, all excellent stories.
