Good Daddy Daughter Time Project My four year old daughter discovered this type of toy while watching YouTube videos and after seeing a couple dozen different ones I decided this would be an interesting one for us to try. According to the packaging it shipped here all the way from Japan – it took a couple weeks but the distance traveled just added to the experience. The item arrived in good condition and looked exactly as expected. Directions are in Japanese but with the help of the pictographs, watching a couple YouTube videos, and a little deduction it’s not to hard to figure out what to do. The process is straight forward and involves cutting the individual disposable measuring cup, molds, etc apart, mixing the ingredients up, pouring the mix in the right molds, a little microwaving, and assembly. Young children will need some help but nothing is all that difficult. The pieces are small so it may be a little effort to handle them. This product isn’t really candy – it aims to taste more or less like real food. It isn’t exactly nasty tasting but you probably won’t really want to eat it. I expected this and bought it more as a crafting project and that is really what it’s like. Think of it as playdough – sort of edible but not really. We enjoyed doing this little project together. The teenagers in the YouTube videos seemed to complete it in around ten minutes but it took us a couple hours. It was a play experience not quite like anything else we’ve done.

OMG! this was fun & quite tasty. my 4 year old son was super excited to make this one. I must admit, I was pretty excited myself! it’s a little process to make and put together but very well worth it. everything is LEGIT! it’s not candy at all. it was literally eating a hamburger meal but a tiny version. the soda fizzes up like the real thing, not as good as the real soda obviously. the ketchup and cheese both taste real. the fries taste like potato but a very slight sweet flavor to it and the burger was pretty good for what it is. slightly sweet as well. will I buy this item again? HECK YEA!!! this is by far my favorite popin cookin/happy kitchen set.
