These are the stories of the dogs and cats that I’ve had the privilege to foster through a small local humane society in Southwest Virginia. Some of them have devastating stories to share. Some have a wonderful sense of humor. And some have attitude. So much attitude. (Those are going to be the cats…) They have shared their stories with me and so I share them with you, mostly told in their voice. Because make no mistake, they do have a voice.
