One of the loveliest screen musicals of the late 1950s, Funny Face, based on a 1928 stage show with songs by George and Ira Gershwin, starred Fred Astaire as a fashion photographer and Audrey Hepburn as the plain girl he turns into a high-class model and falls in love with. For this 60th anniversary reissue, the soundtrack album has been sonically upgraded in high res definition, with the songs resequenced to match the order in which they are heard in the film; it also features eight previously unreleased alternate takes of the most popular numbers.
