A collection of Russian jokes, anecdotes and short stories. Humor is one of the best mediums for understanding and accepting other people. Russian worldview is saturated with jokes and humor. We tend to laugh at everything. Our favorite national pastime is to share a meal and some fresh jokes and anecdotes. The funniest Russian jokes are based on syntactic and lexical ambiguity, puns and wordplay. By definition, those verbal jokes are impossible to translate. That’s why for this collection I use political, military, and sexual humor that I could actually translate, albeit with some changes and explanations.
