Door harps go back to the Chinese tradition of hanging bells around doors and windows to alter Chi. Modern day door harps hang on any interior door and gently announce the comings and going of friends and family with their peaceful tone. Each Water Dragon Door Harp is custom crafted here in the United States by an experienced wood worker/musician. They are all tuned to the “F Major Chord”, the most relaxing sound known to the human body, out of birch. They measure 8″ across. The sound holes are each hand cut to ensure maximum resonance. And, each mallet is made of glass to create maximum sound. The harps come in a variety of patterns. The pattern for this particular Door Harp is that of the I Ching hexagram for “Joyous, the Lake” (Hexagram #58)
