Many of us are survivors of childhood abuse. We carry the memories and scars with us over the years. Deep down, we may feel that the wounds were somehow our fault; we may live with fear, with anger and with a sense of worthlessness.
This book is about finding joy and healing in spite of (and maybe because of) our scars. This book is about healing and moving on. It is a call to action to help ourselves and to become more than just survivors. It is about finding peace, happiness and moving on to a better life, not just for ourselves, but for our children and the world around us.

A gem of a book! This is a gem of a book! While it is short, it is so filled with life and hope after the reveal of the dark beginnings, the writer clearly wants to encourage readers that they, too, can emerge victorious from childhood abuse. Author Victoria Le Vane Cayce was aptly named to be `victorious’ by a loving mother who struggled against the shackles of a monstrous husband, the same man who tried to destroy his children. The author’s chronicle of survival concludes with helpful information to reassure and help restructure a life with caregivers who failed to care. If you, or someone you know, is struggling with the emotional issues of childhood trauma, you will find plenty of help and hope in “Beautiful Scars.”Review by Anne Sargent
Thank you for being so brave! Reading this book reminded me of my own journey through sexual and physical abuse growing up. I do believe when we share our stories, it helps other women to face the scars that they too have so that we as a collective may heal. Thank you dearest for bringing your story and helping so many! Much appreciated..
