Meh… okay based only on quantity of ink it will hold I posted a photo. The refillable cartridge shipped fairly swiftly out of Singapore. The unit itself holds a bit more than half of the amount the prefilled cartridges My solution: Use plastic pipettes (though I have the pack of 12 not 100) to refill with Noodlers Bulletproof Black Noodler’s Bottle 3 ounce Refill – Bulletproof Black 19001.
Product works so well I will be ordering more. Pen was brand new so it did not fill well the first time. I think the nib needs to be saturated to get a decent fill on the first try. As an alternative, fill the converter from the bottle and then put it in the pen and shake the pen to get the ink to flow for the first use of both pen and converter.
Ordered this for my Lamy Safari Limited Edition 2012, and it fits in snugly. Not wobbly at all,and if you dip the pen slightly above the entire nib, you should get ink going when twisting the converter during filling.A must for your Safari if you’re wanting to use bottled ink!
