This is a rare February 3rd, 1958 playbill from the Broadway revival of the NOEL COWARD comedy “PRESENT LAUGHTER” at the Belasco Theatre in New York City. (The revival opened January 31st, 1958 and ran for a limited engagement of only six performances before going on the road.) ….. The play starred NOEL COWARD and featured EVA GABOR, JOYCE CAREY, MONA WASHBOURNE, ANGELA THORNTON, WILLIAM TRAYLOR, JOHN AINSWORTH, THERESE QUADRI, ROBERT THURSTON, AVRIL GENTLES and WINSTON ROSS ….. CREDITS: Book by NOEL COWARD; Sets designed by OLIVER SMITH; Costumes designed by FRANK THOMPSON; Directed by NOEL COWARD; Produced by THE PLAYWRIGHTS’ COMPANY in association with LANCE HAMILTON and CHARLES RUSSELL ….. DETAILS: The 42 page playbill measures 6 1/2″ X 9″ inches and includes full production credits, cast list, synopsis of scenes and bios of each of the actors and members of the creative team but with the exception of the front cover, no cast photos ….. CONDITION: With the exception of minor creasing to the back cover, this playbill is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any theatre aficionado or historian.
