Nice, But Not Great for Looping I had purchased this to listen to on repeat while I sleep, but that idea went out the window right at the start.4 seconds into the track, an announcer comes on and gives a warning message. At the 58:25 minute mark, he comes back on to tell you the session is over. I didn’t find the voice to be too loud or startling, but I don’t think it’s something many people could sleep through. I’m also pretty sure you can hear a dog bark a few times, which I don’t find relaxing at all.If you have a music editing program like Audacity, thankfully, you can fix the warning messages.I’m hoping that for any future editions, that they could put the warnings in separate tracks before and after the binaural beat track.
Soothing, relaxing, musical This one seems to work and isn’t awful to listen to. It has nature sounds and music. I feel relaxed when listening. I also use this at bedtime, worth trying it!
The music in this particular offering of the binaural beats collection is melodic and easy to listen to. Others of the series are not nearly so. In fact, one is kind of hard to listen to.I’ve listened to this mp3 a couple of times now. Maybe you have to learn how to listen to them, like don’t try to hear and understand what’s being said, but relax and let your mind go where it wants to go. That seemed to help this last time. You know, nobody wants to subject themselves to subliminal stuff – we want to be educated and make sure we don’t listen to garbage, cuz there’s a lot of crap out there trying to get into our heads. But I think I’ll know intuitively, in my gut, if there’s something going on that isn’t right. As long as I pay attention to the red flags, take them seriously, unplug when I need to, then I don’t think there’s much to be concerned with here. On the other hand, I was raised with pretty much all negative criticism and much of that was very harsh. I’ve spent too much of my adult life trying to sort those recordings out – what was true, what was not. I could use some positive re-recording of those tapes in my head. So, bring it!
