The Joyful Christian was written by Reverend David E. Thiele to assist people in understanding the Bible and specifically the book of Philippians. The Joyful Christian was written to illustrate the “Investigative Reporter Method” of Bible Study. By asking the right questions you can discover God’s message as related to us through the scriptures. This is a simple, clear and concise way of helping you to grow spiritually. The Joyful Christian – A Study in Philippians is the first in a series of books relating studies in the Bible – God’s Word. Not all books in the series will use the “Investigative Reporter” method of study. Reverend Thiele was ordained by United Christian Ministries International in 2002 and is currently a member in good standing with The National Association of Christian Ministers. Reverend Thiele holds an A.A. and B.A. in Christian Ministry from the United Christian Ministry institute located in Albion, Indiana. He has taught Fundamentals of the Faith in Fountain, Colorado under the auspices of the Fusion Church.
Rev Thiele is no “Ivory Tower” minister. In addition to filling the pulpit, he has worked as a retail clerk, has been a truck driver, served in the military, spent almost three decades as a machinist, was a mechanical inspector for over 13 years and was a FAA Certified Helicopter Repairman. He is a cancer survivor. He is married with three grown children who now have families of their own.
