My Fake Fiance (Wedding Flirts #1) Samantha has had the misfortune of being invited to a High School frenemy’s wedding. Sam’s a twenty-nine year old single receptionist, and that isn’t going to impress anyone. Desperate to not look as pathetic as she feels, she hires Justin, a hot struggling actor, to play the part of her Australian CEO Fiancee. When Justin asks her to return the favor, Sam’s left wondering if the charade is still just a charade. This was a cute little read. Sam and Justin are both likable, cute characters. This isn’t deep, it isn’t convoluted, it’s just a short, simple love story that I found to be very enjoyable to read.*This is a clean romance, there is sex between Sam and Justin, but it’s only alluded to, not depicted.
Read in one sitting So…as I studied for my grad-school midterms, I became tired and wanted a short story that would make me laugh. I needed it. And what do you know, this short story was for free. Freaking amazing. I don’t regret downloading it for I read it in one sitting. The characters are likable, approachable and you are left wanting more of them. But hey, if you do, don’t worry for this is a book of short stories that won’t leave you hanging and wondering about what happened with the protagonist’s best friend; they all get their time under the spotlight.
Cute This is the typical pretend to be my fake fiance/boyfriend story. Nothing new at all. Would have liked for the author to add more drama.
