Good, quality product. Love the look and feel of this carrier. I bought about 4 or 5 carriers with my first and none ever compared to the comfort and security I feel wearing the ergo. The little pocket in the carrier is very convenient, and the sun shade is a must. My newborn loves the insert, it’s as if she is still in my womb. Well worth the price and the design is eye catching. Also, I’m a big girl, with big, breast-feeding boobs, the carrier does not hurt them at all and fits fine around my waist with room to spare..
Comfortable and the newborn insert is great! This is our second child and I’ve tried all kinds of carriers and slings (this is our sixth!). This is the most comfortable carrier that I’ve had so far. I can carry my 27 pound 18 month old in it for an hour or more and still be pretty comfortable. AND it is the only carrier that I’ve tried which seems to provide proper support for newborns – my 3 week old loves it. With other carries I always worried about proper head support and found myself moving really slow or holding the baby on the outside of the carrier anyhow. This carrier does a great job for all sizes… plus it looks cool! ;o) Super satisified. Now I just ask myself why I didn’t get one with our first child!
Wait until you master the art of breastfeeding in this thing while walking! Seriously, to appreciate the full amazingness of this carrier, watch youtube videos on how to use it. I love my carrier. My son is 6 months now, 18 pounds, and still loves the carrier. He’s comfortable during the summer and winter, always sleeps comfortably, we mastered nursing while hiking (yippee!), it washes easily, and it is comfy for me.My baby didn’t like the infant insert…..we used it all of twice. Just be extremely careful if you choose not to use it for your NB. My son fought it, never got comfy in it, and got over heated. He preferred mommy’s skin.
