Soulless Ginger "Soulless Ginger" says:

As with the other good shows, it got the ax too soon When NBC first started advertising for this show back in 2009, I set my ancient VCR to record the episodes. After the explosive season premiere episode, I was hooked. I was heartbroken when the show was yanked off the air due to poor ratings (die American Idol die) and had to rely on the episodes on NBC’s website until they were eventually taken down. After the Jay Leno show tanked, NBC brought back Trauma, but unfortunately, the show was given the ax again (die DWTS die) and pulled from the lineup for good. NBC also did a poor job of hyping this show for its return. I didn’t even realize the show was back on the air until I had missed the first two episodes. Thank God for high speed internet at work.If you’re in to the EMS rescue thing, try this show out. Taking place in San Francisco, this show follows the lives of paramedics, both in the ambulances and in the helicopters as well as their personal lives and daily struggles. Some of the later episodes deal with one of the characters having PTSD from a crash as well as a death when he was younger. This show is awesome. It reminds me sort of as a newer version of Third Watch starring the deliciously yummy Coby Bell. The humor that is woven in with the drama provides just enough balance to keep the show going and the romance adds in a little bit of flair, but it’s not overdone as in soap operas. What you get with this set is all of the episodes on DVD. I just wish NBC would have put all of the episodes on the disc rather than stopping at just the ones that were aired on TV. The series finale left us hanging and at least for me, it left me begging for more.

Too Bad It Only Lasted One Season It took a little while to develop the characters in this series, but the last three episodes were really getting good. The characters had emotional depth and were believable. It’s too bad that the network pulled the show before it developed its full following.
