Renee Palmer just slapped her mother hard enough to draw blood. Why? Because of the divorce, that’s why. Because of Tariq. Because of Tia. Because she’s angry, and alone, and confused. Because she’s 15. That’s why.

I would definitely recommend this book to pretty much anyone I know. I read it in basically one sitting because it was such a page turner. Crazy yet funny character with an interesting story to tell. Can’t wait to see what Nicholas Chanese comes up with next!
Great book! The author hooks the reader from the very beginning so it was hard to put down. It was definitely a page turner for me and for others who I know also read the book. I had the opportunity to meet Nick Chanese and he was so honest and passionate about his writing and his book. I recommend it to anyone, but especially to older high school students who may be able to relate. Both funny and sad. I will be looking forward to reading Nick Chanese’s next book.
