It is refreshing that the pace is slow and repetitive, like a preschool classroom and not fast and disjointed like modern TV. I think that makes it less likely to contribute to ADD.

Not only do I find the content educational, but it entertains my son throughout the episode. We follow the PBS airing rule of watching the same episode 3 to 5 times and my son increases his confidence in participating each time. The fact that audience participation is built in makes it so much better than just watching a cartoon passively. I also like the different way that they teach certain lessons. The episode about listening was great. My son decided to stop and listen during one of our walks to the different sounds. He also goes around the house looking for clues relating to whatever he may be playing with at the time.
