Why the title? The title is misleading, it has nothing to do with what is in its content. I am glad he recovered, his message in fact is the truth. However, he does not describe how did it worked for him, any person will hope for the best and expect the good under that kind of stress, since it will think that he/she is at the worst of the worst. There is an obvious point at the end of the book: he has not discovered the real truth about positive thinking. The conclusion of the book is to avoid Sugars? wheat? where is the "secret" about positive thinking? It never mentions the results he got from positive thinking. I would recommend the author (since he does in fact has a good idea of what a positive thinking does) to develop it, and try the new ideas... try the spirits! you would be wrong to believe that you are well now because of your positive thinking. You are well now because of your blind faith to the doctor. Anyway, if someone is interested in the book. I would recommend to read chapter 1 and 2, and then skip to the Conclusion, but do not expect any answers on: How, What and When. The rest is just sad, negative and worthless, perhaps for some people who like drama will work for them, but not for me.

Every day is a gift and a wonderful opportunity. Aaron's journey provides proof and an affirmation that each day is a gift and a wonderful opportunity for each of us. His incredible story is both an inspiration and a declaration for the wonderful people, and situations that permeate throughout our lives. This powerful book was a wake-up call for me to pay more attention to the great gift that life is and to stop spending my time complaining and instead to seize the opportunities to make my life more fulfilling and the lives of all the wonderful people around me better.I highly recommend this book for anyone that wants to gain perspective on the joy and the gift that life truly is.

a helping hand I needed I've struggled with a chronic illness for the last 12 years and have found it challenging to process emotionally. But since reading The Positive Thinking Secret I have been able to develop a habit of feeling gratitude in response to pain and often think of Aaron's story and message. It really is a choice I wanted and needed to make. I cried several times reading this book and cannot recommend it highly enough. If you're ready for it, Aaron teaches a habit that will help you live a better life whether or not you are healthy or ill.I'm well into my recovery now and wish I'd learned this secret long ago when I was really suffering. But, the truth is daily life delivers enough knocks that these habits I've learned from Aaron will get continual practice. It's a great silver lining and one I walked through fire for. Happy to be on a similar journey with Aaron. Read this book.
