I don’t see how they can advertise these as pure white. I have great eyes and am a designer who relies on color accuracy on a daily basis and these are getting too close to the ugly blue/green light from 6500k CFL’s. 5000k, aren’t bad but 5500k (these lights) are too blue. They are also massively huge (long) so they won’t work for many applications.
