This cover is very much like the Apple Smart Cover except that it also provides a back case, which does add some more weight but provides much better protection. The cover folds up just like the Smart Cover does, allowing multiple viewing angles, and it also has the tendency to leave lines on the screen, so I keep a cloth handy for cleaning the screen. The case snaps on to the back of the iPad with tabs, rather than using magnets like the Smart Cover. This is nice since I’ve had my Smart Cover fall off my iPad 2 when the magnets come loose. Overall, nice looking case providing more than adequate protection with minimal weight.
