Incredibly Fun! Sphero is a lot of fun. I just purchased a second one for the family because my kids were fighting over the first. Yep, I know, we spoil 'em. It comes charged and is easy to get going out of the box -just downloaded the apps from iTunes and start playing. It's pretty freaky to drive a ball (versus things you've driven before like a car or helicopter) so it does take a bit of getting used to, but after a few minutes you'll get the hang of it. I was surprised by how many different games there are now. They have more games since I purchased the first one. Two of the new games we like are Exile (kinda like a modern day space invaders) and Color Grab (a fun multi-player game the kids like).Pros: Driving and racing it around is great, it has lots of games, its easy to connect, your smartphone or ipods are the controller, has a long charge and it's well madeCons: It's ain't cheap at $129 and it takes some time to get the hang of driving at first

Great Item from a Great Company! I bought my Sphero straight from Orbotix at launch. I had it for a year and a half and loved it. Then one day it just stopped working and I was sad. I went on the Orbotix website and tried all of their troubleshooting tips, to no avail. As a last resort I contacted customer support. I knew it was well out of warranty but hoped they knew a trick I hadn't tried, or at the very least could fix it at a cost to me. Once I explained my issue and told them how old it was, they issued me an RMA number and had me ship it to them to see if they could repair it. I received an email the same day that they received my Sphero. I was told that it was unrepairable and that it had gone to Sphero heaven. Again, I was sad. But then the very next line of the email put a smile on my face and restored my hope in humanity and good customer service. I was told that they were rush shipping me a replacement Sphero, that I would have it on my doorstep within 2 days, and that it was at no cost to me. Now that's a company that stands behind its product. So now I am once again enjoying my Sphero, and tormenting my dog/cats.
