I can't believe anyone would still buy these They are made in China. They are potentially dangerous to your pet & are no different from cheap jerky treats you would buy at Walmart, stuck in a prettier bag, with a big pricetag to make you assume it is a high quality product. I feel sorry for the people who give these to their pets thinking they are doing something good for their arthritis/joints/hips/etc. There are a million better ways to feed your dog glucosamine besides these treats.Write the company and ask that they please manufacture their jerky treats in America instead of in China. Of course they will ignore your request, as they did mine, which is why I no longer respect this brand which I used to think was high quality.

Happy Hips Made in China! I would be much happier with this product if it was not made in China. Although my dogs love Happy Hips I do not give them to my 5 dogs as much anymore now that I have discovered they are made in China where many unsafe dog products are manufactured. I have received emailed cautionary warnings about chicken jerky for dogs that is made in China causing liver and kidney damage so I give these only as a rare treat.

Dogs Like it But...Not Safe! I was pretty excited at the price and the fact that my dogs love them...until I found out they're made in China. A lot of my friends have had some serious problems with jerky treats from China and their dogs getting seriously ill. I have two beagles and they love the stuff. I didn't realize until I dug a little deeper and researched all the risks that these treats pose! We were already halfway through the bag. Fortunately I was lucky enough to not have either dog get sick or injured. You're not going to beat that price, but my dog's health is worth the extra money. I sought out alternative options and wound up with some american-made chicken jerky treats- . I feel much safer knowing they're not eating anything that's going to hurt them and they love the stuff just the same. I look at it as I'm paying for piece of mind and the health of my lovely furry friends.
