If Scrubs threw away the heavy-handed attempts at character development, it would be Happy Endings. This sort of “60 jokes per second” style rises or falls based on it’s writing and delivery, and, both are stellar. Eliza Coupe and Damon Wayans Jr, who play a couple on the show, are the two standouts.
