Good, not Perfect Overlord 2 is a decent enough game in its own right with a *lot* more variation in play than the original Overlord had. The alignment system (domination v. destruction) is better than the original where you could actually be a good evil overlord. The multi-mistress concept is good, even if the execution didn't live up to my expectations. Similarly, raising minions could've been done far better. The storyline is merely passable compared to the original Overlord's well-scripted story. It is a bit short and linear compared to what's expected of world domination/demolition; more side quests and optional paths would've fleshed it out nicely. Additionally, the minion control occasionally goes buggy in switching between orders, sweeping and camera control. (Press Esc and then resume the game.)On the whole, though, it provided me with the level of amusement I expected for the price I paid.

Ignore Bader I don't know what Bader is complaining about, Overlord II is an awesome game. He said the first has "tons of replay value," maybe he just played the game until he puked minions out of his eyes or something. This game is better than the first if you ask me. My only real complaint is that its short. I bought it and finished it in about 4 days, though I suppose I did play it a lot.Kill 1000 gnomes - Don't like it, don't do it. Doesn't hurt a darn thing if you don't do it.Control Scheme - EXACTLY the same as the first game. The reason I got Overlord 2 was because I JUST got Overlord 1 and loved it. I beat Overlord 1 last Saturday and immediately got Overlord 2. Less than 3 hours after I finished the first did I start the second, so I think its fair to say that I know what I'm talking about. Controls are EXACTLY the same.As far as the enemies not attacking you, I think he's referring to when you break an enemy formation and rout them. Its not always easy, and not having them attack you is somewhat of a reward for breaking the formation. And it definately isn't ALL enemies. In fact, some of them are actually quite good at fighting, such as the acrobatic elves. They'll leap over your front lines and head for your reds and blues in the back. This game builds on the first by allowing your minions to ride mounts, gives you some seige weapons, and boats. There is even a little bit of ship to ship battle which was entertaining. And don't do what I did when I saw a boat trying to escape. I showed him my broadside trying to block him in... he rammed me. HARD. Sunk me.Fun game. Only 4 stars overall because it's relatively short.
