Fantastic! For someone who never meditated before, this book makes starting the endeavor less daunting. It provides many meditations that can be done in a few minutes or doing other activities (like running). Ideal for the busy person to feel less stress and be happy. Fantastic!

Relearning the importance of balance This book is a must-read. Like so many aspects of life that require a balance - too much of one thing or its opposite and we go off track - the book discusses how the same applies to laughter and grief. The third component discussed in the book, silence (or observation), provides the reflection to fully absorb the benefits of being in touch with these emotions, in a balanced way. Anecdotes and insights into the importance of each of these made the book very easy to read. One of the most useful things was that the techniques were accessible. Many different meditation options are presented, and sections called 'Four Minute Meditation' show how we can use whatever time we have available to still reap the benefits. All in all this is an excellent book.

Laughter, Tears, Silence - a guide for our perilous times! I was lucky to grow up in the midst of a large extended family with wise-cracking brothers and lots of giggling cousins. In other words, I was surrounded by laughter! All my life I've found laughter healing, but with the world in crisis, I'm often struggling to smile, much less laugh. Enter Pragito Dove with the solution: laughter meditations that make it easy to break through the gloom with a few yahoos! I couldn't believe how simple it is once you recognize you can just start laughing; you don't need a reason.Pragito also recognizes in her book Laughter, Tears, Silence, that opening your heart to the sadness is also essential to good health. I highly recommend making Pragito your guide through our perilous times!
